This Month in Hearing Loss NewsThere’s a lot going on in the audiology industry. It’s a booming space that the Hearlink team is passionate about and for good reason. With advances in modern medicine and technology, we’re uncovering more and more amazing research that can help us mitigate hearing loss. Conversely, the growing amount of available research shows us that we’re also seeing more and more challenges, more and more varied conditions that impact our customers and patients in very different ways. Because of this, it’s especially important for the Hearlink blog to educate our community. When we arm you with the right knowledge and know-how, you’re set up for success in the journey of your health. While most of the time our posts focus on a specific story or update, we thought it would be valuable to add a new monthly feature – a quick snapshot of what you need to know now. It will include the latest and greatest of the Worldwide Web and hopefully educate you about what’s going on in the world of hearing loss. If you have questions or would like to see different topics, please let us know!

This research was focused on an outdoor music festival in Amsterdam, where half of the attendees used earplugs. Each participant excepting two drank throughout the show, and 22% took advantage of drugs. You can learn more about this here.
