2018 Audiology Trends- Part 1With so many different technologies entering the market, it can be difficult to keep up and navigate. Given our involvement with the audiology industry, it’s always been especially important to us to come to the table with the right knowledge about these devices and the trends surrounding them. Just because something is new and hip, doesn’t mean it’s the right thing. We take the time to research and evaluate the tools and devices that we offer our valued customers, and we’re passionate about explaining why. That’s why it’s one of our core pillars to share as much information as possible to ensure that you can take ownership of your health journey. Today, we dive into the latest audiology device trends.

We look at these from a couple of different levels. We look at these from a manufacturing lens and a retail level. We want to ensure that they’re prolific and going to be successful, but also that they’re designed with the utmost care. This ensures that the market isn’t just filled with the latest gimmicks, but products that we can really get behind.

Let’s look at these trends from a couple different perspectives. There are a few brands that are really dominating. We don’t endorse any of these as companies, but are always excited to share innovative groups who are changing the game of audiology. They include Seimens Healthcare, Phonak, Starkey and Serene Innovations.

There are also countries where these trends are most prevalent. They include North America, China, Japan and India. None of these should come as a shock, but it’s a personal mission of the Hearlink team to get Australia on that list in the near future.

Of the most importance to us, and the best learnings to take away, are the hearing aid search types that are really the most popular. We take these analytics really seriously, as we want to ensure that we’re providing the best experiences to our valued customers. Here is a list, per Digital Journal:
