Hearing Loss/Rehabilitation
When the hearing loss is permanent often hearing aids are fitted. These are designed to help hear sounds and speech by making these sounds audible and clear. To use of hearing aids is often complemented with learning to utilise communication strategies such as visual cues and other listening tactics.
